Dear Zee TV Package Subscribers,
Thank you for watching Zee TV channels.
The Zee TV Package you are watching in Korea consists of 9 channels and 7 of them have been serviced with Conditional Access System of SECA2.
The headquarter, Zee Network, is located in India and a Japanese Zee TV Agent has supplied us smartcards. However, we have been informed by the Zee TV Agent that the SECA2 would be changed to new conditional access system. It means that the existing subscribers need to change their smartcards and decoders.
At first, we could not understand their new policy since it is unusual that the conditional access system is changed later after it is chosen. Following our direct re-check with the headquarter, Zee Network, they confirmed that it is true and requested us to cooperate with the Zee TV Agent.
Accordingly, it is inevitable that all subscribers watching the Zee TV Package of Asiasat3S satellite in Asia should replace the existing smartcards and decoders with the new ones.
Through this new smartcard and decoder, you can watch the previous channels (Zee TV, Zee News, Zee Music, Zee Cinema, Zee Smile, Zee Punjabi, Zee Bangla, Zee Marathi, Zee Gujarati) as well as the additional channels like Zee Action, Zee Premiere, Zee Classic and Zee Business.
1) Our existing Zee TV subscribers
We will supply new equipment (smartcard + decoder) for our existing subscribers at KRW \70,000 which includes delivery charges, tax and custom clearance.
Also, there will not be any change in your subscription term and fee.
Only equipments (smartcard + decoder) will be replaced.
2) New Subscribers of Zee TV
Subscription fee will remain unchanged but the cost of new equipment (smartcard + decoder) will be advised later after the replacement is completed for our existing subscribers.
Dear Zee TV subscribers,
We have been recently informed that the previous conditional access system would be changed and it is regretful that Zee Network and Zee TV Agent notified this to us without giving enough time for our preparation.
We, however, believe that it is based on the Zee Network’s enthusiasm, thoughtfulness and efforts in order for them to provide better service and programs for overseas Indians.
It is difficult for Koreans to watch Korean channels abroad and this will be the same for other countries. But the Zee Network tries to make environment so that everyone can enjoy the Zee TV channels all over the world. This is because they care about their people and we sincerely admire their efforts.
