[ Notice from Australia Network ]
Dear Viewers,
We would like to alert you to some minor changes we are making to our PAS-8 satellite reception.
This will only affect you if you are picking Australia Network up directly from the PAS-8 satellite. If you are receiving us via another satellite and have received this mail accidentally then please ignore. If you are receiving us via a rebroadcaster then please ignore as they will have been notified separately.
Our new PAS-8 reception details will be:-
New
Satellite : PAS8
Transponder : 6C
Band: C
* Frequency: 3829MHz
* Symbol Rate: 13238 Ksym/s
Forward Error Correction (FEC): ¾
Service name: Asia - Australia Network
Service ID: 1
* Downlink Polarity: Horizontal
Service Name Provider: Australia Network
The only changes will be to our Transponder, Frequency and Symbol Rate. All other details remain the same.
To make these changes, you will need to go into the Menu section in your decoder and alter the Transponder, Frequency and Symbol Rate details to the ones above.
You can make the amendments anytime between now and the 1st December as during this period Australia Network will be available on both transponders. However, after the 1st December, Australia Network will only be available on PAS-8 using the new reception details.
This should be a simple amendment. Please let us know if you experience any difficulties or have any questions. However, please note that we will be unable to give specific retuning instructions for individual decoders due to the vast number of models out in the marketplace.
Details are also available on our website at http://australianetwork.com/tuning/reception.htm.
Our programming will not be affected and if you have a Smart Card for our Rugby Union coverage then this will not be affected either.
Best Regards
Head of Marketing
